Wedding Details


Plan for your most memorable day in Boston with the assistance of our trained wedding professionals. We’ll oversee the ceremony and reception details so you can spend your time making memories. To ease the process, we have highlighted several important details for creating an unforgettable wedding reception. Other questions are answered in the FAQ section. Of course, your dedicated Boston wedding planner is on hand to address any other questions or concerns you may have concerning your reception.

Seating Arrangements and Room Set-up

Most rooms can be set up to match your plans. We offer flexible seating ranging from eight to 12 guests per table. Hyatt Harborside will create a ceremony room in a round or chapel style, if you wish. Choose from any number of venues to find the one to suit your style.

Linen / Table Settings
Tables will be set with ivory tablecloths and can be accented with ivory linen napkins. Upgrades such as accent fabric overlays or chair covers can be coordinated. Each table will be set with our full service setting to include our finest china, stemware and silver. Table decor includes a round mirror tile with votive candles designed to complement your florist's centerpiece.

Dance Floor and Risers
These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.

Order of Events
From traditional ideas to your unique vision, allow our wedding specialist to assist you in determining the flow of your day.

Audio visual Equipment
Our onsite audio-visual experts, Visual Aids Electronics, can help you execute your ideas, from a slide show to special lighting.

Parking
Valet parking is available for your wedding guests.

Wedding Cake
Wedding cakes are part of your package. Choose from a variety of designs, styles and flavors from Montillio's or Konditor Meister.

Guestrooms
It is our pleasure to offer the bride and groom a special suite on your wedding night, complimentary please ask your wedding specialist for more details. Special room rates are available for your overnight guests. Please speak with your wedding specialist for further details or to block rooms.

Gold Passport
Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at Hyatt Harborside. Two points are awarded for each dollar spent for all events starting after 5:00p.m.

Pricing
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold the ballroom on a definite basis. Your event is considered tentative until a signed contract of agreement and deposit are received. Your deposit will be applied towards the total due. Payment in full is required prior to your event.

Guarantee
A final number of guests is required three (3) business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare meals for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
